The Fight Oral Cancer Foundation Booth At The Texas International Pageant

Our presence at the texas international pageant was a success. We were able to connect to a large audience and educate them about oral cancer and the importance of early detection of this silent killer. The participants wore The Fight Oral Cancer Foundation support ribbon through out the pageant. It was such a proud moment to see our younger generation show interest in knowing more about this deadly cancer and the ways to prevent it.

Oral Cancer Self Examination

Look for any white, red or blue spots or sores in your mouth and on your tongue that do not go away after seven days. Ask your dentist to check these. If you notice any swelling in your mouth or in your throat or in your neck that does not go away after seven to ten days. Also look for any white patches in your mouth. Oral cancer screening takes only couple of minutes.
